Important Update Regarding Apple iOS 12.0 Release
When Apple released iOS 12.0 last month, we advised BEYOND™ and EVOKE™ users to hold off on updating their devices until compatibility could be tested. We are pleased to inform you that initial testing is now complete. Results of the initial testing confirm compatibility with BEYOND and EVOKE hearing aids.
We will continue to keep you informed of any reports that may affect compatibility or the use of Widex apps. In the meantime, we still recommend backing up the iOS device to iCloud or iTunes before updating.
Remember that MFi Hearing aids may lose connection to the iPhone when an iOS update is done. If this happens, the hearing aids will need to be unpaired (forget the device) and re-paired with the iPhone.
