Audiologist – Melissa McFadden, B.Sc., M.Sc., Reg. CASLPO
Melissa McFadden is the Chief Audiologist and Owner of the Halton Hearing Centre, one of Oakville’s most established hearing healthcare clinics. She is an experienced Clinical and Dispensing Audiologist, practicing since 2006.
Melissa sees patients of all ages for hearing assessments. She specializes in the prescription and dispensing of Hearing Aids and Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs), and also repairs and adjusts hearing aids. She provides patients with personalized recommendations and counselling in regards to hearing loss, and also provides Auditory Training services (Listening And Communication Enhancement Program).
Melissa McFadden earned her B.Sc. (Hons.) from the University of Waterloo, and her Master of Science degree in Audiology from the University of Western Ontario. She has extensive research experience, and is published in the area of auditory processing and the development of the auditory nervous system in infants.
Melissa is a licensed practitioner with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), and is also a member of the Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA).

Melissa McFadden
Melissa graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo in 2003. She subsequently obtained her Master of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2006 – during which time she successfully defended her Master’s Thesis and completed external audiology placements in both hospital and private practice settings. She has worked as an Audiologist in the Oakville area for almost 17 years. In her spare time she enjoys reading, travelling, watching movies, and playing with her Havanese puppy, Sadie.
